The Untold: Love with Jade

 

An anthology written by Jade Novelist to celebrate the day of Love.

 

It consists of poems from his past collections “Love In 14 Days” & “ Dear Future Wife” and also new written works by him. Furthermore, as we all know Jade Novelist always chooses to go an extra mile with his anthologies and this one attests to that, as it gives us a glimpse of his own views on Love, heartbreak and his own lessons.

 

This time not only in a poetical sense but in a simple Question & Answer format.

I remember it all,

who we used to be before you broke my heart.

 

I reminisce of the me

who breathed the same air as those who believed in love.

 

I recall the words you used to make promises you couldn’t keep,

and times I questioned myself to sleep.

 

I cast my mind to the faith I held

before I learnt to blaspheme my desire to be with someone.

 

I muse on the vows I made to myself,

that I’d give my all and you’d be the last

 

but despite the hurt I long not to be alone,

so to keep my vow,

I emphasize how I call you the last to break my heart.

most of them too complicated to explain

and even harder to express

but I miss you,

in so many ways

I just don’t say it

because I hope it will make you miss me too.
