Whispers In The Wind

I wish to wake up one day,

To see myself walking down the isle to my forever and a day

As I take significant steps to stand before her,

I plan to lay my heart on the palm of her hands

For us to exchange more than words

and offer up more than promises

A celebration of no more “maybes” or “you might be”

because I know she is the one.
