Welcome to a jaded world

words. thoughts. Jade

“I needed some way to keep you alive, I needed some way to make sure you were important.

So I found a way to make sure the world would know your name.”

– TUMAINI (2020)

words for you

It's in literature that true life can be found. It's under the mask of fiction that you can tell the truth.

Gao Xingjian

Untouched Trauma serves as a follow up to Patsy Mugabi & Jade Novelist’s Memorable Amnesia.

Unlike Memorable Amnesia — Untouched Trauma is a solo effort by Jade. It focuses on mental health and the challenges thereof. The anthology explores different themes such as depression, dissociative identity disorder, social anxiety and how it feels to love with a troubled mind just to name a few.

Where Memorable Amnesia was the culmination of cluttered minds, Untouched Trauma focuses on one mind trying to organise their thoughts.
